CARE at The Park

The World's top fertility treatment team Assembles

Dr. Fishel, one of the world's pioneering specialists in fertility treatment, has rejoined The Park Hospital, working again with Mr. John Webster, currently Medical Director at The Park.

John and Simon both worked with Patrick Steptoe and Robert Edwards before the birth in 1978 of Louise Brown, the world's first test tube baby. These specialists have, over the past 18 years, pioneered the introduction of major developments in fertility treatment including the first published reports on the world's first babies born by micro-injection and the world's first testicular spermatid baby.

The CARE team has been linked with the Vitalab unit in Johannesburg for 14 years. Dr. Simon Fishel regularly works with VITALAB and also undertakes joint lecture tours.
